Congratulations Nigel Wilson in being selected as an inductee into the Definitely Durham Hall of Fame for 2014! This is truly an amazing achievement that acknowledges both Nigel’s professional and personal life’s goals. Nigel’s professional baseball success is no secret; winning the homerun title in the Japan League for two consecutive years, obtaining the RBI award in a single year, and powerfully hitting 4 homeruns in one single game are just a few of his lifetime achievements.

Nigel has the desire to give back to the community and is passionate about mentoring kids. His humble stature and down to earth attitude make him an instant success and positive role model for the baseball community. Nigel is often found working hard at the Competitive Edge through various initiatives; however he is often seen playing just as hard and training his students in the Ontario Yankee Program.
