What an awesome experience! It was one of those dream come true moments….to play in the Rogers Centre. I was absolutely honoured to have been selected to play in Tournament 12.
What an awesome experience! It was one of those dream come true moments….to play in the Rogers Centre. I was absolutely honoured to have been selected to play in Tournament 12. To play amongst some of the best amateur baseball players across the country. Being involved in an event like this, can only drive you to work harder and motivate you to play harder. I was surrounded by extremely talented players, all of us striving for the next potential opportunity. I like to approach every experience as an occasion to learn, and there was lots to learn! One of my memorable moments was receiving batting advice from Devon White on how to improve my swing. You can’t put a price on that! The coaches were very supportive and encouraging of all the players. They were eager to help each and every one of us up our game and improve wherever we could. I see where I need to go, and how I need to develop if I want to succeed. My thanks to Roberto Alomar and the Blue Jays Organization and all those who provide support behind the scenes, Nigel Wilson, and the Ontario Yankees, and my family for all of their ongoing support.
